Introduction to Freediving

Course Description:
This course is designed to be an introduction to recreational freediving for the complete beginner.

It aims to help the student to develop basic skills, knowledge and safety procedures necessary to enjoy freediving safely. The course will tackle basic freediving equipment, breathing techniques for preparation and after a breathold, equalization techniques, the basic safety for freediving in open water with max depth of 10 meters.

Class format:

• You will be assigned to a certified freedive instructor (max of 4 students per instructor)
  
• 2 hours class theory
• 2 hours open water morning session
  
• 2 hours open water afternoon session

Important note:

By paying for the fee, participants understand that:

• Payments are transferable but not refundable
• 3 days notice is needed for rescheduling
• Must be 18yo or above on the date of class, 16 and 17yo with parental guidance
• Have no history of ear problem

Prerequisites:

• 18 years of age or older (16 years with parent or guardian consent)
• Swimming Skills (able to swim 100m non stop)
